Thanks for responding shan. I do appreciate it. It looks like the window of claiming was a few hours before the contract was emptied, and I have still not been able to claim.
There were multiple weeks where KYC’d community members, who had rented EduLand, were not receiving their claimable allowance through the contract due to a fault in the gelato calling of the contract at the regular intervals. This remains unresolved from that I can see.
There are multiple months of pent up claims to be made (as evidenced by the claim window practically being open for only a few hours before the rewards were exhausted again). I hope people are able to claim by 15 August, and that functionally it isn’t only open for under 24 actual hours between now and then.
Thankyou for finally making some progress on this (for the few accounts that were able to claim I am sure they are thankful also). But you are right, It doesnt really make up for the past errors preventing valid claiming, multiple months of community silencing, anti DAO behaviour, and making little to no effort to respond to community concerns for half a year.
I’m not really sure I will be interested in whats next given the experience, and find it hard to trust that there is a “real place for the community in what’s next” when we have been told that in the past and ended up having our efforts and funds locked in a centralised education service provider more interested in institutional courting rather than an “open” campus, but I will follow along and see where things land.
I urgently need to complete my KYC process for Open Campus. However, when I accessed the system, the KYC widget on Blockpass was already closed.
Could you please reopen the KYC verification link or process for my account so that I can complete it? This is extremely important to me as it affects my ability to claim my rewards.
Claims are still not working properly because many of us see the contract with no available funds. On top of that, a lot of users still couldn’t complete KYC because verification was stopped, and that’s not their fault.
If you’re planning to move in a new direction, please resolve this situation first. Honor the rewards that were promised and make the claiming process smooth for everyone.
We’ve spent months supporting EDULand, completing tasks, and waiting patiently. After everything we’ve done, we deserve the rewards we earned not more confusing explanations. Please stop making excuses and focus on delivering what was promised.
From what has been posted on the Open Campus X handle, the reward pool will be refilled weekly so users can keep claiming weekly. On that point everything is clear. What’s still left is the issue where users rewards weren’t added up for weeks, that issue still needs to be addressed. We’re also still expecting updates on what will become of the YUZU that some users weren’t able to exhaust.
For the last time, I sincerely hope the team will allow participants who were unable to complete KYC in time to claim their $EDU rewards before the project moves in a new direction.
At the very least, please show some appreciation for your earliest supporters. Many community members couldn’t complete KYC because the platform stopped accepting new KYC applications.
I hope the team will review these cases and consider distributing the rewards as a gesture of gratitude to those who believed in and supported the project from the very beginning.
